I am very disappointed with the service I received today 2/5/ 24 at the Katy location. I did experience a biased behavior from this doctor herself. I have been using this clinic for a while and the Nurse practitioner and front office lady are the most friendliest and kindest people. To think the owner of the clinic Dr Jennifer Gwozdz will behave in such a manner is appauling, discriminatory and disgraceful.
I was already in one of the rooms. She came in and the first thing she asked was , what insurance do you have?. She asked me to show her my insurance card. When I did, she told me we do not accept that and that I should go to the hope clinic for low Income people. I told her that I have been there multiple times and I was told my insurance was good. I asked how much will the visit cost today, instead of telling me the cost she repeated that it was expensive and that I should go to Hope clinic. I had to ask 3 times before I was told the amount which was $125. I can go on and on and on. She was very rude and displayed an unnecessary behavior.
I have never experienced a situation were a doctor will pull a patient out of a room to question their method of payment after the front office has checked them in and assumed because they are low Income they should go to a free clinic without asking if I want to pay for the visit.
