Glenn went to HCA and they took a lot of blood, did a cat scan, an ultrasound. He was transferred to UTB Galveston at 3am. After more blood testing he has Auto Immune Hemolitic Anemia. His liver and gall bladder are okay. The spleen is what they are checking. I'm sorry I did get in touch with you sooner. Karen

I went yesterday which I haven't been there since September 2025 and dr Gwowdz was short and just rude I am not going back to her establishment and she wont be my primary dr which I told.her to her face yesterday.

I’ve been a patient here for quite awhile and my experience has always been good. Dr. Jennifer is always very kind even though it’s a busy office. Her nursing staff seems to change each time, but they are always kind and efficient as well. Yesterday, I was greeted by a young nurse who did a great job asking what I was there for, getting vitals, asking about meds, etc. She was quick and thorough. Then someone came in and introduced herself as a nurse practitioner in training. She proceeded to ask me the very same questions as the previous person and instead of recording my answers on computer, she was writing everything in a notebook. It bothered me that she was walking around with my personal information in a notebook! Every question she asked, she flipped through the pages. If I told her I had already had a test or procedure or vaccine, she demanded to know when I had it, where I had it etc. I wasn’t prepared to be grilled about everything when I just needed a prescription refill! She had trouble getting my blood pressure right, then she went to draw my blood. I have never had anyone have trouble getting blood. I’ve always been told that my veins are easy to find. This person tried my right arm and didn’t think she could do it, Then tried my left arm and after she stuck me she muttered that she might have to go get someone. She managed to finally get the blood she needed, but today I have a large purple bruise and my arm is painful. I was really unimpressed with her and thought maybe she needs more supervision instead of being left on her own. Even with all of that, I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time, but I’m still wondering about my personal information in her notebook.

Dr. Jennifer has been our doctor for over forty years and we have always been very pleased with her treatment of us. We will be her patients until she retires.
